Position Overview

We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Accounting Analysis Manager to join our Channel Development/Global Accounting team on a part-time, remote basis. This position is ideal for a seasoned accounting professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving financial excellence across a global organization.

As an Accounting Analysis Manager at arenaflex, you will be instrumental in supporting new business initiatives and leading projects with a high-performing team that manages accounting processes for our Channel Development and global retail operations. Key Responsibilities

As an Accounting Analysis Manager, you will be responsible for the following core functions:


  • Strategic Leadership: Provide influential and inspiring leadership to the accounting team. Communicate a clear vision and strategic direction, establishing a positive and collaborative work environment that instills trust in leadership and encourages teamwork to achieve exceptional business results.
  • Complex Accounting Oversight: Administer and manage complex areas of accounting with precision and expertise. Oversee accounting processes comprehensively and provide clients and stakeholders with clear, actionable guidance on accounting implications for business decisions.
  • Process Optimization: Lead continuous improvement initiatives by identifying, developing, and implementing innovative solutions that enhance existing systems, internal controls, and workflows. Focus on improving month-end and quarter-end financial close processes and reporting accuracy.
  • Team Development: Mentor, coach, and motivate team members to meet and exceed business objectives. Challenge conventional thinking and encourage a culture of continuous improvement. Attract, retain, and develop high-performing professionals to support the demands of our growing business.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with teams across the organization to support new business initiatives. Partner with operations and business teams to develop and execute accounting solutions for new business activities and strategic expansions.
  • Financial Close Management: Assist in ensuring timely and accurate month-end and quarter-end financial close processes. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements while maintaining the highest levels of financial integrity.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively across various organizational levels and settings. Present accounting results and complex financial topics to finance leadership and business partners with clarity and confidence.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:


  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree required. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in accounting or financial analysis, with specific experience in:

    • Leading accounting projects for a large, global, publicly traded company

    • Working cross-functionally with operations and business teams to implement accounting solutions for new business activities

    • Communicating effectively across various organizational levels, including presenting accounting results and financial topics to finance and business leaders


  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Blackline modules, including:

    • Accounts module functionality

    • Reconciliation modules

    • Journals modules


  • Professional Certification: CPA (Certified Public Accountant) and/or public accounting experience is strongly preferred.
  • Location: This is a remote position based in the United States, with the primary work location being Washington, USA.

Preferred Qualifications

In addition to the essential qualifications, the following experiences and skills would be highly valued:


  • Experience in retail or consumer goods industries with international operations

  • Advanced knowledge of SAP, Oracle, or other enterprise resource planning systems

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail

  • Proven track record of process improvement and automation initiatives

  • Experience in mergers and acquisitions accounting or integration

  • Knowledge of SEC reporting requirements and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
