Event Specialist (Short Term)

Roblox is a platform that empowers a global community to create immersive digital experiences. They are seeking an Event Specialist to support the execution of their flagship events, focusing on registration, attendee communications, and cross-functional coordination to ensure a seamless attendee experience.

Responsibilities

• Own registration operations, including platform management, attendee tracking, and data accuracy
• Develop and execute attendee communication plans (pre-event, on-site, and post-event), ensuring timely, clear, and consistent messaging
• Partner cross-functionally to align messaging and attendee experience
• Support end-to-end event execution, including planning, on-site coordination, and post-event reporting
• Maintain and manage registration lists, segmentation, and reporting insights
• Assist with budget tracking, invoice routing, and reconciliation for event-related expenses
• Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth on-site operations
• Contribute to run-of-show planning, timelines, and execution documents
• Support additional event projects as needed
