They are seeking an Entry Level Overhead Transmission Line Engineer to join their Energy and Power team to assist in the design and delivery of utility projects aimed at enhancing safety, reliability, and sustainability in the energy sector.
Responsibilities
- Working closely with our regional and global Transmission & Distribution (T&D) delivery teams to support our utility/developer clients and operations teams as we expand our energy transition portfolio
- Play a key role in development of design deliverables for utility upgrades including greenfield/brownfield projects, and developer interconnection facilities
- Understanding the client standards and design guidelines to prepare project deliverables under the direction of the project lead
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering or related engineering discipline
- Familiarity with structure design and foundation design fundamentals
- Ability to perform field visits and walk-downs as required for client projects and providing engineering support for clients through the construction
- Experience with Microsoft suite applications and Auto CAD, and structural design software
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering or related engineering discipline
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification
- 1 - 2 years relevant professional experience
- 1 - 2 years of Overhead Transmission Line Engineering design experience with a utility or consulting organization
- Ability to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship, now or in the future
