Position Overview


We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Data Entry Specialist to support our Adult Education division in a fully remote capacity. This position is ideal for entry-level candidates who are comfortable working independently and possess strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Key Responsibilities

  • Database Management: Manage multiple databases to ensure accurate record-keeping and data organization. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our information systems and ensuring all data is properly categorized and stored.

  • Grant Data Entry: Enter required grant data accurately into the National Reporting System (NRS) to meet monthly, quarterly, and year-end deadlines. This requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under deadline pressure.

  • Record Maintenance: Maintain appropriate records and follow required procedures and practices for attendance and assessment data. You will ensure that all student records are complete, accurate, and up-to-date.

  • Compliance and Security: Maintain required security of student data in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Protecting sensitive information is paramount in this role.

  • Data Quality Assurance: Complete regular error checks and data clean-up in the NRS to ensure accurate reporting. You will identify and correct discrepancies to maintain data integrity.

  • Information Accessibility: Ensure data is accessible in a timely manner to staff and other stakeholders. This includes generating reports and responding to data requests promptly.

  • Task Prioritization: Organize and prioritize tasks to meet all local, state, and program deadlines. Strong time management skills are essential for success in this role.

  • Student Outcome Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate student outcomes including pre/post testing with state-mandated assessments. You will track student progress and help ensure our programs meet their educational objectives.
