Jacobs is a company focused on solving critical problems for thriving cities and resilient environments. They are looking for a driven Civil Engineering Graduate to support their federal team, primarily working on site civil layout, grading, and utility design for various government agencies.


Responsibilities

  • Support the federal team in a hybrid capacity at the St. Louis, MO office
  • Provide clients with planning, engineering, architectural design, construction management, and design-build project delivery
  • Develop site plans, utility plans, and grading plans to meet Federal design standards
  • Perform watershed analyses and design stormwater management systems
  • Prepare engineering assessments, calculations, and basis of design reports
  • Implement designs that are compliant with regulatory code requirements and client standards
  • Coordinate project assignments with other engineers and technicians
  • Advance workflows, systems, tools, and communication techniques

Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil3D and Microsoft Office suite
  • 1 - 2 years professional working experience with a government agency, municipality, corporate engineering, or consulting firm
  • United States Citizenship
  • Engineer In Training (EIT) Certificate
  • 1- 2 years experience working on land development projects, with a government agency, municipality, corporate engineering, or consulting firm
