Position Overview

The Data Entry Clerk serves as a critical backbone of our Energy Services Programs, ensuring that client information, program data, and communication records are accurately maintained and readily accessible. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong technical proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a remote work environment.

As a valued member of the arenaflex team, you will be responsible for maintaining organized and up-to-date digital files that support the day-to-day operations of our energy assistance programs. Key Responsibilities

The Energy Services Data Entry Clerk will undertake the following essential duties and responsibilities:


  • Database Management: Input and maintain updated client status records in the Statewide Client Service Center, accurately reflecting the current production pipeline and ensuring all information is current and accessible.

  • Communication Monitoring: Monitor emails, log documents, and process communications in the Monday.com platform promptly upon receipt to ensure seamless information flow within the organization.

  • System Compliance: Follow program guidelines meticulously for the use of all required database systems, including but not limited to Monday.com, CMS, CSG eConservation, HEARTWAP, LIHEAP, and In Demand platforms.

  • Record Organization: Maintain organized digital and paper participant files in strict accordance with program guidelines, ensuring full compliance with agency and funder requirements at all times.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with program staff to support, enhance, and promote communication and consistency in the delivery of services to our community members.

  • General Clerical Support: Assist with various clerical duties including filing, mailings, phone coverage, and other administrative tasks as needed to support program operations.

  • Remote Work Availability: Maintain consistent availability for remote work, including attending virtual meetings, responding to emails promptly, and conducting regular duties as scheduled.

  • Professional Development: Attend all required staff meetings, supervision sessions, training programs, and contractual meetings to remain current with program developments and organizational policies.

  • Training Participation: Engage actively in mandatory agency training and pursue relevant professional development activities to enhance job performance and career growth.

  • Confidentiality Maintenance: Ensure strict confidentiality is maintained in all aspects of the role, protecting sensitive client information and organizational data at all times.

  • Additional Duties: Perform related work as required to support the effective functioning of arenaflex Energy Services Programs.

Required Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role at arenaflex, candidates must meet the following essential requirements:


  • Education: Associate degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in Human Services or a related field, OR applicable work experience working with diverse individuals and families with low incomes.

  • Substitution Policy: Additional appropriate education may be substituted for experience, and additional directly related experience may be substituted for education on a case-by-case basis.

  • Language Skills: Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is strongly preferred and considered a significant asset in serving our diverse community.
