Electrical Engineer
AU Solar Retailer | Post-Sales Technical Role
We are currently hiring a qualified Electrical Engineer to support an Australian-based solar retailer in a critical post-sale technical review role.
This position sits between the Sales and Installation teams. Once a sales consultant submits a signed proposal along with site photos, you will conduct a comprehensive job review to ensure the project is technically feasible, correctly configured, accurately priced, and fully prepared for installation.

Key Responsibilities:
Review jobs submitted by sales agents (signed proposal + site photos)
Confirm the system can be installed as sold
Review inverter and panel layout to ensure the configuration is workable and compliant
Verify that the job has been priced correctly
Order the correct stock for each project, including required add-ons and extras
Apply relevant Australian solar regulations and compliance requirements
Review and consider Network Service Provider (NSP) requirements
Ensure smooth and accurate handover to the installation team
Requirements
Qualified Electrical Engineer
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to complete full job reviews — from feasibility assessment through to stock ordering
Comfortable reviewing technical drawings, system layouts, and documentation
Strong understanding of electrical systems and solar configurations
Ability to work independently and make sound technical judgments
