E-Commerce Marketplace Growth Specialist

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced E-Commerce Marketplace Growth Specialist to help grow our marketplace at mobilemechanic.com/marketplace. This role is ideal for someone who has hands-on experience building and scaling online product sales and understands how to source, list, optimize, and grow marketplace inventory.

We are a startup focused on modernizing the auto industry through technology. Our platform helps customers save money by connecting them with same-day mobile mechanic services for cars and trucks. We have invested years into building our platform and are now focused on expanding our marketplace.

Responsibilities:

• Grow product sales on our online marketplace

• Source products and identify profitable listing opportunities

• Rewrite and optimize product descriptions for stronger conversion

• Upload and manage marketplace listings

• Help improve product presentation and marketplace performance

• Contribute ideas to grow revenue and scale the marketplace

Requirements:

• Proven e-commerce experience

• Experience operating or growing an online store doing at least $30,000/month in sales

• Strong product listing and product description writing skills

• Ability to identify profitable products and marketplace opportunities

• Self-starter who can work independently and help grow a startup business

Preferred:

• Experience with automotive parts or related e-commerce categories

• Marketplace optimization and conversion-focused listing experience

Compensation:

• $2,000/month base

• Additional monthly commission opportunities
