Designer, Entry Level (Architecture)

Strada is a multi-disciplinary design firm seeking an entry-level architectural Designer in their Philadelphia studio. The role involves engaging in the collaborative design process, researching materials and systems, and assisting team members in construction detailing and production.

Responsibilities

• Engage in the collaborative design process
• Research material and systems for integration into design solutions
• Prioritize tasks while responding to changing needs and schedules
• Develop facility with 3D modeling and design software
• Prepare presentation materials
• Assist team members in construction detailing and production
• Proactively maintain and prioritize deadlines

Skills

• Degree from an NAAB-accredited program
• Strong design sensitivity
• Ability to assess information and translate it into creative solutions
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proactive, resourceful self-starter
• Passionate about learning and growing professionally
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Familiarity with Rendering and BIM software
• Previous design firm experience a plus
