The Data Production Analyst will be responsible for handling reporting, file formatting, and entering member and plan level triggers with a focus on accuracy and efficiency, while collaborating with various teams to enhance productivity.
Responsibilities
- Format data files to load to Sun Life systems
- Request and manipulate reports
- Enter triggers and schedule jobs as requested by admin (and other internal partners)
- Manage workflow on rotation basis and handle inquiries
- Collaborate continuously with team members to identify and implement process improvements and best practices, in order to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Create documentation of business processes and provide training on new or enhanced processes when required
- Apply quality checking functions and adhere to the team workflow tracking processes
Skills
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (formulas, VLOOKUP and pivot tables) required
- Experience working with large sets of data entry or data manipulation
- Ability to work under pressure and meet quick turnaround times
- Collaborative, analytical and solutions-oriented
- Detail-oriented, time management and prioritizing skills
- Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for Quebec only as the position reports to a unilingual English-speaking manager outside Quebec
- Knowledge of investment products is an asset
- Knowledge of the Group Retirement Services business, products, and processes is an asset
- Experience with various technologies are assets (e.g., SQL, Jira, Tableau, VBA Coding, secure websites, etc.)
