Position Overview
As a Data and Analytics Consultant on our Medicaid Coordination of Benefits team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of critical insurance information. Your work will directly impact our ability to coordinate benefits effectively, ensuring that our members receive the coverage they deserve while optimizing the healthcare reimbursement process.

Key Responsibilities
- Data Accuracy & Validation: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of other primary insurance carrier information within our systems. Perform regular audits and quality checks to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Data Analysis: Conduct thorough data analysis to support coordination of benefits functions. Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that impact operational efficiency.
- System Management: Utilize QNXT and SQL Server Management Studio to manage, query, and manipulate data. Develop and maintain databases that support COB operations.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements. Recommend and implement solutions to enhance data quality and operational workflows.
- Medicaid COB Expertise: Apply in-depth knowledge of Medicaid Coordination of Benefits to resolve complex cases. Stay current with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, procedures, and data configurations. Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Communication: Effectively communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders. Present complex data in clear, actionable formats.
- Problem Resolution: Exercise independent thinking to resolve escalated issues. Develop creative solutions to unique challenges encountered in the COB process.
Required Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Data Science, or equivalent experience.
- Analytical & Technical Skills: Strong analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in data analysis, interpretation, and reporting.
- Medicaid COB Knowledge: Solid understanding of Medicaid Coordination of Benefits principles and practices.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in QNXT and SQL Server Management Studio. Ability to write complex queries and manipulate large datasets.
- Independent Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Compensation & Benefits
We recognize that exceptional talent deserves exceptional rewards. The average compensation range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000 annually. Your actual base compensation will depend on various factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
