About the Role
As an Account Manager at arenaflex, you'll play a pivotal role in acquiring, developing, and managing high-value partnerships that expand our product selection, improve pricing competitiveness, and enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers. You'll be responsible for identifying market opportunities, prospecting and recruiting top-tier sellers to join our platform, and guiding them through their journey to become successful online merchants.

Key Responsibilities
As a member of our Marketplace Development team, you will:
- Develop Deep Market Understanding: Build and maintain a thorough understanding of the marketplace segment, including seasonality, global market developments and activities, and competitive landscape monitoring. You'll stay ahead of industry trends to identify new opportunities for arenaflex and our seller partners.
- Prospect and Acquire High-Value Sellers: Identify, approach, and recruit high-caliber sellers to our platform through direct sales outreach, virtual events, presentations, and strategic partnerships. You'll be the face of arenaflex to potential sellers, showcasing the value of joining our marketplace.
- Guide Sellers to Success: Share best practices of online selling with new and existing sellers, including data-driven insights that help them achieve high standards of delivery, exceptional customer experience, and meet their business objectives. You'll act as a trusted advisor and consultant.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to identify, address, and resolve vendor issues promptly. You'll work cross-functionally with teams across arenaflex to ensure seller success and satisfaction.
- Market Analysis: Research product selection gaps and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies to attract key marketplace players. Your efforts will directly impact the breadth and quality of products available to arenaflex customers.
- Drive Business Growth: Contribute to expanding our third-party marketplace, increasing product variety, and enhancing the overall customer shopping experience through strategic seller acquisition and development.
Essential Qualifications
We're looking for candidates who bring the following:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree is required. We welcome graduates from business, marketing, economics, or related fields.
- Sales Experience: 1 to 3 years of successful business-to-business (B2B) sales experience, preferably in e-commerce, technology, retail, or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industries.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets using consultative and solution-focused approaches. You should have a passion for achieving results and winning.
- New Market Development: Experience promoting nascent products or services into new markets is strongly preferred.
- Communication Skills: Advanced written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively. You'll be negotiating with potential partners and guiding existing sellers.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office programs. Comfortable analyzing data to drive decision-making.
- Analytical Abilities: Advanced analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable strategies.

- Familiarity with third-party marketplace models and seller ecosystems.
