Position Overview
As a Customer Service Specialist at arenaflex, you will be the face of our stores, representing our brand values and ensuring every customer receives the highest level of service. This role requires a unique blend of interpersonal skills, product knowledge, and operational expertise. Key Responsibilities

- Recommend Products and Upselling: Develop strong product knowledge to make relevant recommendations based on customer needs. Suggest complementary items and highlight special promotions to enhance the shopping experience and drive sales. Use consultative selling techniques to understand customer preferences and provide personalized solutions.
- Point of Sale Operations: Operate cash registers and other point-of-sale equipment accurately and efficiently. Process customer purchases, collect payments, and provide correct change. Handle voids, returns, exchanges, and refunds according to company policies and procedures. Maintain accuracy in all transactions and follow proper cash handling protocols.
- Store Presentation and Merchandising: Keep counters, checkout areas, and retail displays clean, organized, and visually appealing. Execute merchandise resets, Plan-O-Grams, and seasonal displays as directed. Ensure products are properly stocked, priced, and positioned according to company standards. Maintain a shopping environment that is inviting and easy to navigate.
- Inventory Management: Assist with receiving and processing shipments, including checking in deliveries, unpacking merchandise, and verifying inventory against packing slips. Conduct regular inventory counts and communicate discrepancies to management. Rotate stock using FIFO (First In, First Out) methods to minimize waste and ensure product freshness, particularly for consumable items.
- Compliance and Loss Prevention: Follow all company policies and procedures related to asset protection and loss prevention. Understand and comply with state and local regulations regarding restricted products, including alcohol and tobacco. Remain vigilant in identifying and preventing potential losses while maintaining a safe environment for customers and team members.
- Photo Department Support: Provide assistance in the photo department, including processing digital photo orders, managing passport photo services, and operating photo printing equipment. Help customers navigate photo services and offer creative solutions for special photo products and gifts.
- Online Order Fulfillment: Monitor and process incoming online orders through the digital order management system. Pick items from shelves accurately, verify quantities, and prepare orders for customer pickup or delivery. Ensure timely processing of orders and maintain communication with customers regarding order status.
- Store Maintenance: Assist with maintaining the overall cleanliness and appearance of both the interior and exterior of the store. Complete daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and trash removal. Ensure displays, shelves, and common areas are well-maintained and presentable throughout your shift.
- Team Collaboration: Work cooperatively with fellow team members and support staff. Communicate effectively with management regarding store operations, customer feedback, and any issues requiring attention.
