Are you located in the beautiful South East region of the United States and searching for a role that offers genuine work-life balance, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to help individuals navigate their healthcare journey? If you answered yes, then we have an exceptional opportunity waiting for you at arenaflex!

arenaflex is a Fortune 5 company that stands at the forefront of American healthcare innovation. We are currently seeking passionate, customer-focused individuals to join our Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) division as Work From Home Customer Service Representatives. This is not just another call center job – this is a gateway to a rewarding career in the healthcare industry where your empathy, problem-solving skills, and dedication can directly impact the wellbeing of thousands of members across the nation.

In this dynamic role, you will become a trusted voice for our members, guiding them through the complexities of their prescription insurance plans. You will handle inbound calls from individuals seeking clarity about their medication coverage, pharmacy benefits, and mail-order prescription options. Through your exceptional communication skills and comprehensive product knowledge, you will simplify their healthcare experience and empower them to make informed decisions about their health.

What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities

As a Pharmacy Benefits Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in delivering world-class customer service while supporting our mission to help people on their path to better health. Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Handling Inbound Customer Calls: Professionally respond to incoming calls from members inquiring about their prescription insurance benefits, coverage details, and healthcare options. Each interaction is an opportunity to build trust and provide exceptional service.

  • Benefits Explanation: Clearly explain the intricacies of pharmacy benefit plans, including copays, deductibles, formulary coverage, and prior authorization requirements. Your goal is to ensure members fully understand their coverage so they can make confident healthcare decisions.

  • Prescription Support: Assist members with questions about mail-order prescriptions, pharmacy network selection, and medication availability. Guide them through the process of transferring prescriptions or finding in-network pharmacies.

  • Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve member concerns on the first call whenever possible. Document issues accurately and follow through to ensure complete resolution while maintaining exceptional service standards.

  • Product Knowledge: Maintain thorough knowledge of arenaflex PBM products, services, and systems. Stay current on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and company policies to provide accurate, up-to-date information.

  • Compliance Adherence: Strictly adhere to HIPAA regulations and governmental compliance requirements. Protect member privacy and maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information in accordance with federal and state laws.

  • Documentation: Accurately document all customer interactions in our computer system. Maintain detailed records of member inquiries, resolutions, and any follow-up actions required.

  • Continuous Learning: Participate in ongoing training sessions, team meetings, and quality coaching to enhance your skills and stay current with evolving products, policies, and best practices.

What We're Looking For: Required Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Customer Service Experience: A minimum of six (6) months of experience interacting with customers in a professional environment. This can include call center experience, retail customer service, hospitality industry roles, or equivalent military experience. We value candidates who genuinely enjoy helping others and understand the importance of creating positive customer interactions.
  • Education: A verifiable High School diploma, GED, or equivalent is required. We believe in investing in talent from diverse educational backgrounds.
  • Technical Requirements: You must maintain your own internet connection with approved speed requirements (specific details will be provided during the application process). A reliable, high-speed internet connection is essential for handling calls smoothly and accessing member information without interruption.
  • Home Office Setup: A secure, dedicated workspace free from distractions is required. This space should be private, quiet, and professional – suitable for handling confidential member information.
  • Availability: We offer flexible scheduling options designed to accommodate work-life balance. Full-time schedules begin at 30 hours per week. While your schedule will be set, days off and hours may vary. Our call centers operate 7 days a week, from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM EST for work-from-home employees.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to listen actively, empathize with callers, and clearly convey complex information in a simple, understandable manner.
  • Computer Proficiency: Basic computer skills and the ability to navigate multiple software applications simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications: What Will Make You Stand Out

  • Work From Home Experience: At least six (6) months of successful work-from-home experience, demonstrating self-motivation, discipline, and the ability to thrive in a remote work environment.

  • Healthcare Certification: Professional certifications such as Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT), or other relevant healthcare credentials are a plus.
