Position Overview
We are currently seeking motivated and customer-focused individuals to join our Pharmacy Benefits Management team as Customer Service Representatives. This is a full-time position with flexible scheduling options and the potential to work from home once you meet specific criteria.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for members seeking assistance with their prescription insurance benefits. Your primary responsibility will be to take inbound calls and professionally address inquiries about medication coverage, pharmacy benefits, and mail-order prescription services. Through active listening, empathy, and your commitment to problem-solving, you will help simplify complex health care information and guide members toward the best solutions for their needs.
Location Requirement: You must live within 75 miles of Las Vegas, NV to be considered for this position. Initial training will be conducted on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound customer calls regarding prescription insurance benefits, coverage questions, and pharmacy services
- Provide accurate information about medication coverage, copayments, and prior authorization requirements
- Assist members with understanding their pharmacy benefit plans and explain available options
- Guide callers through the mail-order prescription process and help them set up home delivery services
- Resolve customer concerns and complaints with patience, empathy, and professionalism
- Document all interactions in our customer relationship management system accurately and thoroughly
- Meet individual and team performance metrics related to call handling, customer satisfaction, and quality
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain knowledge of evolving health care policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies regarding patient privacy and data security
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to identify process improvements that enhance the member experience
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience interacting with customers in a professional setting (call center, retail, customer service, hospitality, or military experience)
- Proficiency in Windows-based computer applications and ability to navigate multiple software systems
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends, as business needs require
- Must reside within 75 miles of Las Vegas, NV
- Ability to successfully complete the required on-site training program

- Associate's degree or equivalent post-secondary education
- Previous experience in health care, pharmacy, or insurance customer service
