What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience & Engagement


  • Greet and Assist Customers: Welcome every customer with a warm smile, positive body language, and genuine willingness to help. Engage proactively to identify customer needs before they ask, demonstrating our arenaflex service commitment.

  • Resolve Customer Concerns: Act as a problem-solver by addressing customer issues, answering questions, and ensuring every concern is handled professionally and completely. Transform potentially negative situations into positive outcomes.

  • Deliver Service Excellence: Model and share customer service best practices with team members, demonstrating interpersonal habits such as greeting customers, maintaining eye contact, and showing genuine courtesy. Embody arenaflex service traits including offering help proactively, identifying needs, and servicing customers until they are completely satisfied.

Sales & Register Operations


  • Process Transactions: Operate the assigned cash register with accuracy and efficiency, registering customer purchases, collecting payments, and distributing change as requested.

  • Recommend Products: Suggest items for sale to customers, including trade-up and companion items. Use product knowledge to enhance customer purchases and provide added value.

  • Upselling and Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to introduce customers to new products, promotional items, and complementary goods that enhance their shopping experience.

Store Operations & Merchandising


  • Maintain Store Appearance: Keep counters and shelves clean, well-organized, and properly merchandised. Create an inviting shopping environment that encourages customer engagement.

  • Inventory Management: Take inventory as required, maintain accurate records, and assist with checking in and pricing merchandise as directed by store management or shift leadership.

  • Product Placement: Follow company guidelines for product placement, including proper separation of food items (raw foods from pre-cooked) and organizing products as specified by policies and procedures. Ensure raw and frozen meats are placed on bottom shelves.

  • Stock Rotation: Assist with stock rotation using the first in, first out (FIFO) method to minimize waste and ensure product freshness. Handle restock outs promptly and efficiently.

Visual Merchandising & Displays


  • Create Attractive Displays: Construct and maintain various displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise that capture customer attention and drive sales.

  • Complete Display Resets: Execute resets and revisions as directed by management, ensuring timely and accurate implementation of merchandising plans.

  • Maintain Visual Standards: Ensure all displays meet arenaflex visual standards, creating an appealing and cohesive store appearance that enhances the overall customer experience.

Photo Center Operations


  • Provide Photo Services: Deliver excellent customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster prints, and creative machine operations.

  • Suggest Photo Products: Proactively suggest promotional photo products to customers, helping them capture and preserve special memories.

  • Handle Web Pick-up: Assume web pick-up responsibilities by monitoring orders in our picture care system, filling orders (picking items), and delivering orders to customers as they arrive at the store.

Store Maintenance & Compliance


  • Maintain Store Condition: Assist with exterior and interior maintenance, ensuring the store remains clean, neat, orderly, and visually appealing at all times.

  • Ensure Compliance: Implement Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss. Comply with all company policies and procedures while maintaining respectful relationships with coworkers.

  • Regulated Products: Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products, including alcoholic beverages and tobacco products.

  • Complete Special Assignments: Handle special assignments and additional tasks as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and a team-oriented attitude.

What We're Looking For: Qualifications

Basic Qualifications


  • Language Proficiency: Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico locations)

  • Schedule Flexibility: Requires willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours. Retail environments thrive on adaptability, and we need team members who can meet our customers' needs whenever they shop.
