About the Role: Small Business Sales & Customer Care Professional

In this role, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to small business owners and decision-makers, learning about their unique needs and recommending tailored arenaflex Small Business Solutions (SBS) products that help them grow and succeed. You'll combine your customer service expertise with your sales acumen to deliver comprehensive support while identifying opportunities to help clients access the tools and resources they need.

This position offers a hybrid work model, providing the flexibility to work both remotely and from our state-of-the-art Phoenix Desert Ridge Service Center. You'll receive comprehensive training—whether in-person or virtually—based on business needs, ensuring you have the knowledge and skills to succeed from day one.

What You'll Do Every Day

As a Customer Care Professional on our Small Business Sales team, your daily responsibilities will include:


  • Engaging with Small Business Owners: Service inbound calls while actively engaging and consulting with small business owners and decision-makers. You'll take the time to learn about their specific needs, challenges, and goals to provide personalized recommendations.

  • Product Expertise: Deliver high levels of product and service knowledge to clearly communicate appropriate product features, benefits, and other elements of arenaflex Small Business Services. You'll become an expert in our diverse portfolio of solutions designed specifically for small businesses.

  • Sales Excellence: Continuously improve on key selling skills, including building rapport, understanding customer needs, handling objections professionally, and closing sales effectively. You'll help businesses find the right products to meet their needs.

  • Extraordinary Customer Care: Provide exceptional customer service by responding to questions concerning accounts in a fast-paced, structured customer care environment. Every interaction is an opportunity to create a memorable experience.

  • Documentation & Compliance: Document necessary account information accurately according to established policies and procedures. You'll maintain the highest standards of integrity and compliance in all your interactions.

  • Regulatory Adherence: Adhere to all Regulatory and Compliance guidelines related to servicing and sales practices. Your commitment to ethical standards protects both our customers and the organization.

What We're Looking For: Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:


  • Customer Service Experience: A minimum of two years of customer service experience with a genuine passion for building customer loyalty. You should demonstrate exceptional listening skills, consultative relationship-building abilities, resourcefulness, and strong written and verbal communication.

  • Sales Background: Proven success in a customer service and sales environment for two years or more. You should have a track record of meeting targets and exceeding customer expectations.

  • Multitasking Abilities: The capability to work in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment with proficient multitasking skills and easy navigation in web-based systems and applications.

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. We offer education benefits to support your continued professional development.

  • Availability: The hours of operation for this position are Monday through Sunday, 7:00 AM EST to 1:00 AM EST. You must be available for an 8-hour shift within these operating hours.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be advantageous:


  • Small Business Experience: Experience owning or working in a small business is a strong plus. Understanding the unique challenges and needs of small business owners will help you connect with customers more effectively.

  • Financial Services Background: Previous experience in the financial services or credit card industry can be beneficial, though comprehensive training will be provided.

  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems and other customer relationship management tools.

Flexible Working Model

For this position, you'll work in a hybrid model from our Phoenix Desert Ridge Service Center. After the first 90 days, you'll transition into the hybrid arrangement, combining remote work with regular on-site collaboration.
