Position Overview: CPC Processor – Medical Records Customer Support

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused CPC Processor to join our remote call center team. In this essential role, you will serve as a vital link between patients, insurance companies, attorneys, and healthcare providers, facilitating the efficient processing of medical record requests. Your excellent communication skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment will be key to your success at arenaflex.

Work Schedule and Environment

This is a fully remote position operating as part of our virtual call center. The standard schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. You'll have the opportunity to work from the comfort of your home while remaining connected to our collaborative team environment.

As a CPC Processor at arenaflex, you'll thrive in a high-volume production environment where efficiency and accuracy are paramount. You'll utilize dual computer monitors to navigate multiple platforms simultaneously, ensuring comprehensive documentation of all customer interactions.

Key Responsibilities


  • Medical Record Request Processing: Efficiently handle incoming calls from patients, insurance companies, attorneys, and healthcare providers seeking medical record status information. You'll be responsible for verifying caller identity, retrieving relevant information from our systems, and providing accurate status updates in a timely manner.
  • Multi-Platform Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions across multiple platforms using dual monitor setups. Ensure all information is accurately entered into our CRM and database systems while adhering to strict confidentiality and compliance protocols.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Deliver exceptional customer service by actively listening to caller concerns, demonstrating empathy, and providing clear, accurate information. Resolve inquiries professionally and efficiently while maintaining a positive demeanor throughout high-volume call periods.
  • System Navigation: Utilize multiple software applications and databases to locate, retrieve, and update medical record information. Become proficient in our proprietary platforms while maintaining awareness of HIPAA regulations and data security requirements.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with team members, supervisors, and other departments to resolve complex issues, escalate when necessary, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Quality Assurance: Meet or exceed performance metrics related to call handling time, accuracy, customer satisfaction, and documentation completeness. Participate in quality review sessions and implement feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Training and Development: Successfully complete all required training programs, including our comprehensive onboarding curriculum and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Required Qualifications and Skills


  • Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Some college education or relevant certification in healthcare administration, medical billing, or related field is preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel. Comfortable navigating multiple software applications simultaneously.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and professionally.
  • Customer Orientation: Demonstrated commitment to providing outstanding customer service with patience, empathy, and professionalism.
  • Organizational Abilities: Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

  • Availability: Must be available to work the full scheduled shift Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time.

  • Previous experience in a call center, customer service, or healthcare-related environment

  • CPC (Certified Professional Coder) certification or willingness to pursue certification

Competitive Compensation

The estimated base pay range for this position is $15.00 to $18.32 USD per hour, depending on location, relevant experience, skills, and other role-specific factors. Your compensation will reflect your contributions to our mission while providing financial stability and growth potential.
