Corporate Insurance and Claims Manager

The Corporate Insurance and Claims Manager oversees auto, and workers’ compensation claims from initial reports through resolution. Manages company liability policies. Serves as liaison between the company, carriers, brokers, and internal teams to ensure compliance, mitigation of risk, and to protect company assets.
Responsibilities:
- Resolving complex cases, resolving disputes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies
- Manage claims from initial report through resolution with adjusters, medical professionals, legal teams, and claimants
- Track and maintain insurance policies, premiums, and certificates to prevent coverage gaps
- Coordinate efforts during policy review, renewal, and rebid as required
- Document and report loss trends and provide analysis to internal stakeholders
- Coordinate incident investigations with Safety, HR, and Operations
- Manage return-to-work programs and claim-related conflict resolution
- Assist with training and education of stakeholders to understand active coverage, actions, and areas not currently covered/other areas of importance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
5+ years managing auto and case management for workers’ compensation claims, insurance, etc
Thorough knowledge of insurance policy claims handling rules, and risk mitigation
- Experience managing claims within the construction industry or a comparable field preferred
Strong analytical, organizational, and conflict management skills
Accuracy and exceptional attention to detail
- Bilingual proficiency preferred; English/Spanish strongly preferred.
- Proficient in PC desktop software, with emphasis on MS Office products.
- Ability to work with all levels of management
- Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven time and task management skills.
