NBCUniversal is one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies. They are seeking a social marketing strategist to support strategy development and content analysis for NBC Sports, connecting audience insights to brand priorities.


Responsibilities

  • Support the development of strategic briefs and presentations, gathering inputs from multiple stakeholders
  • Manage business critical social insights workflows, including content tagging, data analysis and content evaluation
  • Coordinate with Sports Marketing group to align with key business priorities, including short and long-term social strategy development
  • Compile and summarize competitive and industry research to help inform social marketing strategies
  • Organize and maintain engagement and growth vitals on the full suite of NBC Sports properties, making it easy for team to quickly access relevant insights and updates

Skills

  • 1+ years of relevant experience in marketing, media, communications, data and analytics, or related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to organize information clearly
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and various social data and management platforms (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Sprinklr or similar)
  • Comfortability managing multiple tasks simultaneously, in which no task is too big or small
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools and processes
  • Demonstrated interest in sports and entertainment programming and brand marketing
  • Strong work ethic, with a dedication to excellence and exceptional attention to detail
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Experience in basic data analysis is required
