Commercial HVAC Service Technician

<div>This position is a remote position that is supported through our Charlotte, NC office. We are looking to add to our team by placing a service technician with Commercial HVAC Service experience. in this position. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years' experience maintaining and troubleshooting units ranging from 2-70 tons. </div><div>The essential roles and responsibilities are outlined below:<br><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Work as a team to fulfill customers needs</li>
<li>Perform preventative maintenance at Commercial/Industrial sites</li>
<li>Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC equipment</li>
<li>Assist with unit installations</li>
<li>Log HVAC equipment such as refrigerant circuit, electrical circuit, condition of equipment, etc.</li>
<li>Ability to braze, perform leak searches, and evacuation process.</li>
<li>Understands the commercial DX equipment up to/over 25 tons, exhaust systems, heat pumps, water source heat pumps, mini-splits, electric motor controls, etc.</li>
<li>Complete log sheets for customers as needed</li>
<li>Be responsive to supervisors and dispatching.</li>
<li>Other such duties and responsibilities as assigned by the company.</li>
<li>Be able to perform at a high level without direct supervision.</li>

<br><strong>Qualifications and Requirements<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li><strong>3 years minimum experience as a Commercial HVAC Service Technician</strong></li>
<li>High School GED</li>
<li>Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds</li>
<li>Ability to work flexible hours and be on call as needed</li>
<li>Universal EPA Certification</li>
<li>Ability to understand equipment specifications.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience in understanding basic refrigerant cycle, various heating component, and air distribution systems.</li>
<li>Ability to communicate effectively with customers</li>
<li>Always represent the company well.</li>
<li>Valid Drivers License and acceptable driving record</li>
<li>Must successfully pass a background check</li>
