Alera Group, Inc. is a rapidly growing insurance broker that specializes in Employee Benefits, Property and Casualty Insurance, and Financial Services. They are seeking a Client Service Representative to support risk strategy, client service excellence, and operational accuracy within their Property & Casualty team.
Responsibilities
- Support Commercial Lines Account Managers with day‑to‑day servicing of existing client accounts
- Provide prompt, professional responses to client service requests and inquiries
- Maintain a strong client‑focused service approach that supports retention and satisfaction
- Review and check policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracy and completeness
- Issue certificates of insurance in accordance with client and carrier requirements
- Request and process policy endorsements with insurance carriers
- Order FR‑19 forms and update driver information as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and records within agency systems
- Manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines and service standards
- Identify and escalate issues that require Account Manager or carrier involvement
- Contribute to consistent service practices that reduce errors and omissions exposure
Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–2 years of experience supporting Commercial Lines insurance accounts
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license
- Strong customer service orientation with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience working within an insurance agency or brokerage environment
- Familiarity with commercial insurance documentation and servicing workflows
