About the Role

The Client Relations & Growth Coordinator, under the supervision of the Director, supports the organization’s client intake, outreach, and operational coordination efforts. This role blends client intake coordination with outreach and operational support to help ensure families have a smooth and supportive experience when connecting with services.

 

Responsibilities include coordinating new client inquiries, facilitating client intake and onboarding, supporting client lifecycle communication, and referral development efforts. The Client Relations & Growth Coordinator serves as an initial point of contact for families and manages key intake processes, including insurance verification and coordination of required documentation. In collaboration with the Director and leadership team, this role actively maintains referral relationships and leads outreach initiatives that strengthen the organization’s referral network and community presence in Long Beach, CA and the surrounding areas.

Job Type: Full Time

Location: Remote (local to Long Beach, CA)

*25% local travel to physician offices, schools, and other outreach events is required. Travel may increase seasonally depending on community event schedules. We are looking for a someone local to Long Beach, CA.

Salary


The salary for this position is $50,000-$60,000/year.

Requirements for the Role

  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare, behavioral health, ABA, or related field

  • Strong understanding of the California autism services landscape - including regional centers, school districts, pediatricians, diagnostic providers, and funding streams

  • Experience with insurance authorizations and healthcare documentation

  • Demonstrated success building referral relationships or managing client pipelines

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • Strong organizational and project management skills

  • Ability to travel within California

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in ASD or ABA services is strongly preferred

  • Experience working with Regional Centers and California school systems

  • Familiarity with Medi-Cal and commercial insurance authorization processes

  • Experience supporting RBT hiring or service operations
