Claims Representative - Investigations

The Claims Representative role involves reviewing, analyzing, and investigating property and casualty insurance claims to determine their validity and ensure accurate settlements.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and resolve claims while delivering outstanding customer service
• Negotiate settlements with insureds, claimants, and attorneys
• Manage active files, ensure accurate reserving, and maintain compliance with audit guidelines
• Learn and grow through hands-on training, mentorship, and project opportunities

Skills

• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly and contribute across multiple functional areas
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proven track record of managing priorities and delivering results in fast-paced settings
• Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to take initiative in evolving business environments
• Experience handling auto and GL/PD claims is preferred
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Associate in General Insurance and/or Associate in Claims designation
