Claims Associate II

Zurich North America is hiring a Claims Associate II to join their Workers’ Compensation Claims Team. This role involves managing a caseload of workers compensation claims and building partnerships with customers and brokers while emphasizing service excellence and work-life balance. The position offers flexibility through a hybrid work model, allowing employees to work in preferred locations while maintaining necessary in-office attendance when required.

Responsibilities

• Manage workers compensation claims caseload that consists of low to moderate exposure
• Interpret, investigate and evaluate policies and coverage issues
• Learn claims handling and best practices
• Build partnerships with customers and brokers
• May be aligned to specific accounts

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree and no prior experience required in the Claims area
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2 or more years of experience in the Customer Service area
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and no prior experience required in the Claims area
• Must obtain and maintain required adjuster license(s)
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Insurance industry, medical terminology, or medical billing knowledge
• Analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong communication skills
• Adapt to a changing environment
