Funds originated from the corporation and were used for investments
The investments were not formally structured at the time
There are now three court settlement agreements in place, with repayment over approximately three years (with some delays)

Suggest any additional documentation or steps to strengthen this position
Highlight any risks or alternative interpretations

A clear, professional legal opinion letter (1–2 pages) suitable for providing to an accountant

Licensed lawyer or paralegal in Ontario
Experience in corporate law, tax, or small business advisory
Familiarity with shareholder loans, corporate investments, and CRA considerations
Ability to provide practical, business-oriented advice
