Optum is focused on improving the flow of health data and information to create a more connected system. The Business Operations Coordinator will handle day-to-day administrative tasks that support the medical record retrieval business, including invoice review and coordination with provider offices.
Responsibilities
- Invoice review
- Data entry
- Approve invoices based on specific business rules
- Coordination and communication with provider offices
Skills
- High School Diploma / GED
- Must be 18 years of age OR older
- 1+ years of experience in medical record retrieval, accounting OR finance background
- Attention to detail
- Microsoft Excel skills include V-lookups and pivot tables
- Ability to work full time (40 hours / week), Monday - Friday
- Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm local time
- It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime
- Experience with provider groups, health information management, OR claims processing
- Knowledge of US healthcare system
- Experience with accounts payable
