As a Business Development Representative, you will engage with multi-location restaurant brands, uncover their challenges, and introduce them to better management solutions, contributing to the growth of the SMB and Franchise segments.


Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage SMB, franchise and multi-location restaurant groups through outbound calls, email, social selling, and events
  • Respond to inbound franchise inquiries and qualify opportunities for the AE team
  • Book high-quality meetings that convert into revenue
  • Own and manage your pipeline in Salesforce, prioritizing daily actions that drive results
  • Confidently communicate the value of 7shifts and how we solve real restaurant challenges
  • Conduct discovery and qualification calls using a targeted, consultative approach
  • Hit daily, weekly, and monthly activity goals and opportunity quotas
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Partnerships, and Sales to optimize outreach strategies
  • Stay informed on restaurant technology trends and the competitive landscape
  • Identify process gaps and share feedback to help improve the Franchise sales motion
  • Represent 7shifts at industry events, trade shows, and hospitality conferences (travel as needed)

Skills

  • Experience in a quota-carrying outbound or BDR/SDR role
  • Proven experience executing outbound outreach and building thoughtful, effective sequences to engage prospects
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence, curiosity, and a consultative mindset
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving, results-driven environment
  • A competitive, goal-oriented mentality
  • A positive, team-first attitude and passion for sales
  • Salesforce or CRM experience
  • SaaS experience
  • Background in the restaurant or hospitality industry
