Business Analyst I, OPL (Claims System Management)

Intact is dedicated to helping people, businesses, and society prosper. They are seeking a Business Analyst I, OPL, to handle system referrals, monitor trends for user training, and act as a liaison between users and IT. The role includes supporting business requirements analysis and testing system changes.

Responsibilities

• Handle and resolve day-to-day system referrals from users in a timely fashion
• Meet regularly with regional teams to review ongoing system issues
• Monitor trends to identify opportunities for user training and system changes and enhancements
• Act as the liaison between users, IT and other departments as required
• Test system changes
• Act as a subject matter expert for personal insurance systems
• Consult on system functionality
• Support in the analysis of business requirements for changes existing systems (Bug Fixes)
• Perform any other duties relating to production support as assigned by your manager

Skills

• Demonstrated Experience with Claims tools/processes (Contact Claims and Contact 360)
• Experience in production support
• Strong ability to investigate and analyse problems of a technical nature
• Demonstrated ability to cope with change effectively
• Have initiative and is autonomous
• Skills for time and priority management
• Ability to manage multiple files at the same time
• Good communication skills (oral and written)
• No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada
• For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country
• Project management experience, an asset
• Knowledge of the Auto & Home insurance industry (asset)
