The State of Utah is seeking a Business Analyst for the Office of Medicaid Operations. This role involves managing workloads related to Medicaid claims, providing technical assistance, and coordinating project plans to enhance claims processing efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Manage the additional workload which has increased as a result of the launch of PRISM and process changes
- Support the team in reducing EOP workload lead time
- Handle claim adjustments for EOP services and understanding of general claims knowledge as well as other workloads assigned
- Conduct research, analyze data and troubleshooting
- Project plan development – defines project scope, organizes, plans, and coordinates assignment of functions
Skills
- Have knowledge/experience with Medicaid policy and claims processing
- Attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Systems - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- PRISM, DMP, PEGA knowledge and general Medicaid policy
