HUB International is a leading insurance brokerage firm that empowers its employees and supports clients with a variety of insurance and wealth management products. The Benefits Analyst will manage client accounts throughout their lifecycle, ensuring high service levels while coordinating marketing processes and compliance-related materials.
Responsibilities
- Support the full account lifecycle for new and renewal business, ensuring timely and accurate execution of all deliverables
- Coordinate the marketing process, including gathering client census data, preparing RFPs, and managing carrier communications
- Review and organize carrier quotes, proposals, and applications; track and manage materials through completion
- Prepare marketing and renewal analysis, including worksheets and plan comparisons
- Manage documentation such as broker of record letters, enrollment materials, and carrier forms
- Confirm final plan details (rates, commissions, and benefits) with carriers and oversee submission of required documentation
- Process enrollments and terminations with carriers, as needed
- Review contracts, policies, booklets, and billing statements for accuracy and compliance
- Assist in the preparation of compliance-related materials, including Wrap documents and Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs)
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in agency management systems and internal files
- Serve as a key point of contact for account-related inquiries, ensuring responsive and professional communication
- Stay informed on industry trends and contribute to continuous improvement of client service and internal processes
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Skills
- Prior experience in employee benefits with a strong focus on account management or client service
- Active Life and Health license (or ability to obtain)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
- 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree (4-year degree)
