Associate, Investment Operations

Pathstone is a growing wealth management firm dedicated to helping ultra-high net worth clients navigate their financial landscape. The Investment Operations Associate will be a key member of the investment operations team, focusing on private fund investments and ensuring seamless transaction execution while maintaining strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Work independently and prioritize tasks based on urgency and deadlines
• Coordinate with necessary parties as needed (including relevant counterparties, custodians, portfolio managers, client teams, research, and Legal & Compliance) to ensure seamless processing of transactions
• Communicate directly with clients in a timely manner
• Independently complete fund subscription documents on behalf of clients
• Independently complete custodian new account opening forms for clients
• Timely and accurately execute investment operations (i.e. transaction processing, investment funding, cash transfers, facilitate securities trades, wire set-up, standing letters of authorization, etc.) in accordance with guidelines and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate the collection of AML/KYC documents for client investment in funds with external clients and internal teams, applying judgment in response to specific manager requests
• Using appropriate judgment, escalate issues and inaccuracies to the head of Investment Operations
