Morrison Child and Family Services is a Joint Commission and Sanctuary accredited non-profit organization that provides a comprehensive array of services to children, adolescents, and their families. The Administrative Coordinator delivers comprehensive administrative and office management support to a highly mobile team, coordinating services and managing reports tied to federal funder and program requirements.


Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to remote staff across the United States
  • Prepare and reconcile monthly visa and travel reports for staff with frequent out-of-state travel
  • Track and monitor out-of-state travel and professional development fund usage
  • Monitor budgets for professional development and office supplies
  • Coordinate with agency departments and external partners to support operational efficiency
  • Participate in program meetings and cross-departmental initiatives as assigned
  • Provide basic technical and computer support and coordinate with IT resources as needed
  • Serve as liaison to Facilities regarding building operations, security, and janitorial services
  • Lead quarterly safety compliance activities and participate in virtual safety committee meetings
  • Maintain vendor schedules and manage office supply inventory and mail
  • Maintain and reconcile petty cash
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and participation in local job fairs
  • Complete accurate and timely timesheets and required administrative records
  • Demonstrate a commitment to developing a thorough knowledge and application of the Sanctuary model and other organizational policies & practices
  • Participate in staff development, in-services, and training related to workplace effectiveness; model professional behaviors and implement improvements to business practices with awareness of their impact in a trauma-informed behavioral healthcare organization
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support program operations

Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • One year of demonstrated office or administrative experience
  • Intermediate proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and email systems
  • Must be at least 21 years of age prior to start date
  • Understanding of trauma-informed practices
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive criminal history background check
  • Completion of 40 hours of required annual training (provided by Morrison)
  • Ability to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with flexibility upon approval
  • Experience working with ORR programs
  • Bilingual in Spanish written, read and verbal. Must clear a language proficiency test for Spanish
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and agency regulations
  • Familiarity with government travel policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of adolescent development, trauma, abuse and neglect, substance use, and related interventions
