Alera Group is one of the largest and fastest-growing independent insurance and financial services firms in the U.S. They are seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to manage a small-to-mid market book of business, build client relationships, and support account needs. The role offers opportunities for growth and development in a collaborative, hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and service a commercial lines book of business (small-to-mid market accounts)
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Support renewals, policy changes, and ongoing account needs
- Partner with internal teams to ensure a smooth client experience
- Maintain accurate documentation and account records
- Work closely with producers and service teams to support client needs
- Stay organized and manage multiple accounts and priorities
- Identify cross-sell and new business opportunities when appropriate
- Continue developing knowledge of insurance products and client strategies
Skills
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities
- Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
- Strong communication skills
- Insurance experience or exposure to commercial lines
- Active Property & Casualty license (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
