We are looking for a talented and high-energy member to join our Media Team in 2026!
Expect to be our “boots on the ground” in the capture of impactful visual content for apartment community websites and marketing campaigns. As one of our Seasonal Media Producers, you’ll travel, shoot, and edit 20-30 hours per week, generally within the Lincoln and Omaha area - to produce exceptional photographs and walk-though video tours of unique apartment communities, floor plans, and rental properties, all while providing remarkable interactions with on-site staff.
You’ll spend two weeks learning how to capture and process impactful marketing material for apartment communities the RentVision way, working alongside our full-time team of marketing media experts in Lincoln, NE. Once you’re geared up and ready to go, you’ll provide an awesome seasonal experience to our Lincoln and Omaha clients. The start date for this position is May 18th, and the season will run for anywhere between five to seven months.
Once training is complete, you’ll be traveling to client shoots every week, shooting new apartment communities and rental homes, editing and delivering photos and videos, and pleasing clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capture photo and video according to RentVision’s spec: You’ll be capturing the community and floorplan photos and videos to showcase communities to prospective residents in marketing. RentVision’s process is informed by 16 years of providing apartment marketing media to clients, and our approach, gear, and deliverables are very narrowly defined.
- Travel to client properties: You’ll be serving clients in and around your metro, generally in the Lincoln and Omaha area. That means driving to and from these communities to capture photos and videos during the shoot timeframe. Promptness, consistency, and reliability are a necessity!
- Photos and Video Editing: We’ll train you how to both capture and deliver photos and videos in a manner consistent with RentVision specifications. You’ll leverage presets, templates, and your own editorial skill to ensure excellent final media delivery.
- Media Handoff: After media has been captured and processed with excellence, you’ll work with our team to deliver final edits so they can be implemented into digital ads and web marketing.
- Calendar management: RentVision will manage your shoots, outlining where to be, what to capture, and who you’ll be interacting with. Staying on top of your planned shoots, where they are, and what needs capturing is mandatory to succeeding as a Media Producer.
Client Communication:
- You’ll be coordinating both with RentVision’s coordinators and clients on a regular basis. Professionalism, great communication, and a pleasant demeanor all contribute to creating the remarkable experiences we strive to provide RentVision clients. You won’t have to worry about scheduling your shoots, but on the day you will be interacting with the onsite staff there to receive you.
Team Collaboration:
- You’ll be learning from and working alongside our talented team of media experts with 30+ years of combined real estate photo and video experience. You’ll stay in close contact with your direct manager and our travel coordinator who will ensure you know what shoots are coming, and that you have all you need. You’ll also be plugged into feedback and training from our editing and media production team that will help guide your photography and videography and editing as you continue growing and capturing client media. You’ll also have access to a working space here in our Lincoln office to carry out your edits and non-shooting work alongside our team.
Requirements
- Have videography & photography experience: Have some experience shooting photography and videography content professionally (ex. weddings, commercials, corporate events, etc.) and have a strong working knowledge of professional mirrorless cameras (Canon preferred).
- Have photo and video editing experience: We use a combination of Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Bridge and Premier to deliver our content. Additional experience in DaVinci Resolve is a plus!
- Are a collaborator: Be an integral part of our creative team, which requires a range of talents to deliver our final product with high quality and timeliness.
- Can adapt to change: We need team members who adapt to change, are excited by new challenges, and are strong decision-makers while on the road. If there are ever two things that can change by the minute, it’s travel and technology!
- Are consistent and persistent: Produce and return large quantities of impactful visual content in a timely manner that are continually adherent to our brand standards.
- Can handle physical demands: In this role you will be required to have a valid driver’s license and vehicle transportation to travel to client shoots. You’ll also need to be able to move up to 60 lbs. of equipment, be working and moving for several hours at a time, and occasionally work outdoors in the heat. On the roughest days, you’ll be doing all of these things, all at the same time. Physical stamina is a must.
- Have a customer service mindset: You might be the only employee from RentVision that ever meets this client face-to-face, so your customer service skills must be top notch. We strive to provide a remarkable experience to our clients, so being on time, communicating well, and having a pleasant demeanor (even during tough shoots) is essential.
- Have a working knowledge of modern day communication tools: You’ll constantly be on the road, but we will want to stay in touch! We use platforms like Zoom, Dropbox, Slack, and G-Suite to make sure we are all in sync. Experience in all of these platforms isn’t a requirement, but you need to be somewhat tech savvy and able to learn quickly. If you have a hard time connecting to a new wifi network, this probably won’t be a great fit.
