Position Overview
arenaflex is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager II, Data Analytics to join our E-Commerce and Product Analytics team. This is a part-time position (8 hours/day) offering $26/hour, based in Sunnyvale, USA. As a Senior Manager II, Data Analytics, you will play a critical role in building and nurturing a high-performing team of analytics professionals. You will be responsible for establishing a strong data-driven culture, creating robust analytics infrastructure, and delivering actionable insights that drive exceptional business outcomes. This role requires a unique blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution—you'll need to be ready to roll up your sleeves and dive into the data whenever necessary.
What You'll Do
As a key member of the arenaflex analytics team, you will:
- Define Key Metrics & Monitor Performance: Establish and track critical KPIs to measure product performance and health across all digital platforms. You will create comprehensive monitoring systems that provide real-time visibility into product metrics and business health.
- Leverage Clickstream Data: Utilize clickstream data analysis to identify opportunities for improving customer experience and influence product roadmaps. Perform conversion analysis, funnel analysis, and forecasting to guide strategic decision-making across the organization.
- Design & Execute Experiments: Plan and implement A/B tests, causal inference studies, and predictive analytics to identify and evaluate the impact of new product features. This ongoing discipline will help continuously improve product offerings and deliver exceptional customer experiences across Desktop, Mobile, and other platforms.
- Create Data Visualizations: Design and develop intuitive dashboards and compelling data visualizations that surface product-related insights. Your visualizations will tell stories that drive action and help stakeholders understand complex data at a glance.
- Deliver Actionable Recommendations: Combine data, experimentation, and analysis-driven insights to deliver meaningful recommendations that address opportunities for product enhancements. Translate complex findings into clear, actionable strategies.
- Engage Cross-Functional Partners: Collaborate with product and business partners across multiple geographies to proactively identify opportunities, develop business acumen, and build strong partner relationships while delivering world-class analytics solutions.
- Drive Cross-Functional Decisions: Work effectively with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Program Managers, and Data Science to drive data-based decisions throughout the organization.
- Mentor & Coach: Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to achieve top-tier analysis results while handling multiple products and initiatives. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

- Technical & Communication Skills: Strong technical skills to surface insights quickly, paired with exceptional interpersonal skills to communicate findings in a way that persuades action from stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytics Tools Expertise: Hands-on experience with analytics tools for visualization, measurement, and experimentation including Tableau, Looker, Omniture, Statsig, Google Analytics, Quantum Metric, Splunk, and similar platforms.
- Advanced SQL Proficiency: Experience working with multi-million record datasets using SQL-based querying languages (MS SQL, MySQL, HIVE, BigQuery).
- Experimentation Practices: Strong experience setting up and scaling experimentation practices within organizations.
- Statistical Analysis Mastery: Professional expertise in statistical analysis—both descriptive and inferential (hypothesis testing)—as well as predictive analytics (segmentation, regression, forecasting, NLP) to solve complex business problems.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of experience working in E-Commerce or Consumer-focused technology companies
- Strong background in Product Analysis, Data Science, Digital Analytics, or E-Commerce Analytics
- Demonstrated experience building and managing analytics teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in a quantitative field
- Experience in retail or consumer goods analytics
- Knowledge of machine learning and AI applications in e-commerce
- Familiarity with big data technologies and cloud platforms
- Experience working in global, matrixed organizations
