The Team & The Role
You'll be joining the Creative Production Innovation Management team – a group of dynamic application managers within our broader Product Discovery & Promoting Enterprise (formerly Creative Manufacturing). This team drives complex projects that span multiple teams and technologies across arenaflex. We are seeking a seasoned Program Manager with proven experience handling complex cross-functional programs for technology systems.
As our Senior Innovation Program Manager, you will be responsible for shaping and executing innovation programs that introduce new stories and experiences to our members worldwide. You'll act as a thought partner to key stakeholders and excel at driving early-degree projects from initial strategy through to successful execution. This is a high-impact role where you'll be instrumental in bringing innovative concepts to life and making a tangible difference in how entertainment is delivered to millions of people globally.
What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Innovation Program Manager at arenaflex, you will:
- Lead Complex Innovation Programs: Drive programs that are innovation-focused, highly technical, and cross-functional in nature. You'll manage initiatives from concept through delivery, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives.
- Conduct Feasibility & Scope Assessments: Evaluate conceptual features and designs to determine effort requirements, timeline feasibility, and resource needs. Your analysis will ensure we deliver high-quality functions on time and within budget.
- Shape Early-Stage Innovation: Act as a thought partner to PDP (Product Development Platform) leaders to transform early-level product innovation opportunities into concrete, executable programs with clear milestones and deliverables.
- Collaborate with Product Management: Partner closely with arenaflex Product Managers on projects within their innovation roadmaps. Advocate for PDP's teams by proactively consulting and advising throughout the innovation lifecycle on product functions, tests, and designs.
- Drive Cross-Functional Alignment: Work intensively with Product Control, Engineering, and Creative teams to align on project plans, priorities, execution, and shipping of highly technical initiatives. You'll be the glue that holds diverse teams together toward common goals.
- Identify Strategic Opportunities: Be responsible for identifying extensive trends and opportunities across your portfolio of programs that have the potential to drive greater impact and/or performance improvements.
- Manage Resources & Deliverables: Control, plan, and track PDP's assets, milestones, deliverables, and communications throughout the execution of simultaneous programs. Your organizational skills will be key to managing competing priorities.
- Anticipate & Plan for Challenges: Expect and plan for future needs and challenges around timelines, workflow changes, and software deliverables. You'll be forward-thinking and proactive rather than reactive.
What We're Looking For: Required Qualifications
We seek candidates who embody the arenaflex culture and bring the following qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years of practical experience in program management practices, efficiently validated in prior roles within product engineering or technology organizations.
- Program Management Expertise: Possess deep domain expertise and working knowledge in establishing and enforcing program management frameworks and best practices. You should have a proven track record of successfully managing complex, multi-team initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Influence: Demonstrated ability to influence a wide spectrum of technical cross-functional teams and activate them toward a common objective. You know how to build consensus without authority.
- Navigating Ambiguity: Strong capability to navigate through stages of ambiguity and translate strategic opportunities into tangible, actionable next steps. You thrive when direction isn't perfectly clear and help bring clarity to complex situations.
- Fast-Paced Environment Success: Thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while maintaining high performance and quality. Intellectual curiosity is essential – you should be eager to learn and adapt continuously.
- Resource Management: Skilled at handling resources (both human capital and financial) to optimize the outcomes of the programs and projects for which you're responsible.
- Communication Excellence: Ability to communicate effectively and inclusively across cultures, creative teams, and technical teams. You can translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.
- Product Curiosity: Familiar with and fiercely curious about product development, with experience using data insights, A/B testing, and user experience perspectives to inform decisions.
- Feedback Culture: Effective at giving honest and direct feedback. You believe in transparency and constructive communication as keys to team success.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following would make you an even stronger candidate:
- Experience in the streaming, entertainment, or media industry
- Background working with global, distributed teams across multiple time zones
- Certification in program management (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent)
- Technical background or understanding of software development lifecycle
- Experience with agile methodologies and modern project management tools
- Understanding of data analytics and experimentation platforms
