Position Overview
As a Senior Data Analyst at arenaflex, you will be an integral part of our data analytics team, working alongside gifted analysts and software developers to create cutting-edge web applications that are revolutionizing our unique order business. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you'll interact directly with end-customers and stakeholders to determine requirements and quickly turn specifications into high-quality deliverables.
You will be responsible for architecting and implementing reporting frameworks, overseeing data mining efforts, and developing programs, methodologies, and documents for analyzing and communicating data. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with various database programs and analytical tools, possess strong SQL skills, and be able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including stakeholders, developers, UX designers, and end-customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting & Analysis: Establish reporting requirements and best practices across the organization. Architect and implement comprehensive reporting frameworks that provide actionable insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Data Mining & Analysis: Oversee data mining efforts and utilize various database programs and analytical tools to extract, clean, and analyze data from diverse sources. Develop sophisticated SQL scripts, stored procedures, and triggers to support business intelligence initiatives.
- Methodology Development: Create programs, methodologies, and documentation for analyzing and communicating data effectively. Ensure best practices are followed and maintained throughout the data analytics lifecycle.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, developers, UX designers, and end-customers to determine requirements and ensure deliverables meet business needs. Translate complex technical concepts into understandable business language.
- Data Management: Perform data cleansing and validation to ensure data integrity and accuracy. Prepare data load scripts for mass data loading from various data sources, ensuring efficient and reliable data pipelines.
- Technical Enhancements: Implement enhancements and changes to existing systems and procedures to improve efficiency, accuracy, and performance. Stay current with emerging technologies and tools to maintain competitive advantage.
- Documentation: Generate comprehensive documentation including data dictionaries, process flows, and technical specifications. Maintain clear records of all analytical work for future reference and knowledge sharing.
- Team Mentorship: Mentor colleagues on requirements, best practices, and new-era concepts. Share knowledge and expertise to elevate the overall capabilities of the analytics team.
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum Age: Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Education: The knowledge, competencies, and skills are generally obtained through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or an equivalent diploma in a field of study related to the job, such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related technical field.
