The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for building the commercial funnel by identifying potential customers, initiating conversations, and scheduling meetings while supporting industry events and collaborating closely with the CEO.
Responsibilities
- This role is responsible for building the top of Wildtype’s commercial funnel by identifying potential customers, initiating conversations, and scheduling meetings
- Research and identify prospective customers and partners using your deep understanding of our technology
- Deliver a consistent weekly flow of qualified leads and high potential prospects
- Support preparation for industry events, conferences, and trade shows
- The position reports to the CEO and will collaborate closely to refine messaging and outreach strategies
Skills
- 1–3 years experience in sales development, business development, or outbound prospecting
- A hunger to win as we tackle the market for biotech-enabled, sustainable products
- Track record of overcoming rejection, identifying and connecting with relevant decision-makers, and of measured persistence required to break into new markets
- Exceptional written communication skills, especially for email and social media outreach
- Highly organized and adept with CRM tools. Able to manage a large number of prospects and conversations
