Position Overview
We're currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Retail Customer Service Specialists to join our team at arenaflex retail locations. This role is available in both full-time and part-time capacities, giving you the flexibility to choose a schedule that fits your lifestyle and commitments. As a Retail Customer Service Specialist, you'll be the first point of contact for customers seeking shipping, mailing, and business solutions. Your ability to provide accurate information, process transactions efficiently, and deliver outstanding service will directly impact customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities
As a Retail Customer Service Specialist at arenaflex, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Customer Consultation and Support: Provide comprehensive information about arenaflex shipping services, including domestic and international shipping options, various service levels, competitive rates, and estimated delivery times. You'll help customers select the best solutions based on their specific needs, budget, and timeline requirements.
- Transaction Processing: Accurately process a wide variety of transactions, including shipping label creation, package drop-offs, and sales of packing supplies such as boxes, envelopes, bubble wrap, and tape. Ensure all transactions are completed correctly in our computer systems and that customers receive proper documentation and receipts.
- Customer Issue Resolution: Professionally handle and resolve customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints. This includes troubleshooting tracking issues, addressing billing questions, investigating lost or delayed packages, and finding creative solutions to unique shipping challenges. Your goal is to turn every customer interaction into a positive experience.
- Product and Service Knowledge: Maintain thorough knowledge of all arenaflex services, including express shipping, ground shipping, freight services, printing and copying solutions, mailbox rentals, and business supply offerings. Stay current on service updates, rate changes, and new offerings to provide accurate recommendations.
- Cash Handling and Security: Manage cash, credit card, and digital payments accurately and securely. Balance registers daily, prepare deposits, and adhere to all cash handling policies and procedures to ensure financial accuracy and security.
- Package Acceptance and Processing: Receive packages from customers, properly weigh and measure items, apply appropriate shipping labels, and ensure all shipments meet carrier guidelines and safety regulations.
- Store Operations: Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming retail environment. This includes stocking supplies, organizing the customer service area, and ensuring all equipment (scales, printers, computers) is functioning properly.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure seamless operations, support during peak periods, and shared responsibility for maintaining high service standards. Assist colleagues as needed and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
