Are you passionate about helping others and looking for a rewarding career where every day brings new challenges? Do you thrive in environments where your communication skills can make a real difference in people's lives? If so, arenaflex invites you to join our team as a Remote Customer Service Representative 1 – a position that offers stability, growth potential, and the opportunity to be part of a company that truly cares about its customers and employees.
At arenaflex, we believe that exceptional customer service is the foundation of everything we do. As a leading utility provider serving communities across Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia, and Kentucky, we are committed to delivering reliable, safe, and affordable energy solutions to millions of customers. Our mission goes beyond simply providing utility services – we strive to build lasting relationships with the communities we serve, one interaction at a time. When you join arenaflex, you become part of a team that values integrity, innovation, and putting customers first.
This is an exciting opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home while representing a trusted name in the utility industry. As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you will be the frontline of our customer interactions, handling a diverse range of inquiries that make a direct impact on our customers' daily lives. Whether it's helping a family understand their energy bill, processing a service transfer for someone moving to a new home, or assisting during an emergency situation, your role is vital in ensuring our customers receive the support they need, when they need it.

- Handle emergency calls with calm professionalism – when customers call in distress about gas leaks, outages, or other emergencies, you'll be trained to prioritize their safety, provide immediate guidance, and coordinate with our response teams to ensure rapid resolution.
- Process service requests including move-ins, adds, and transfers – help customers seamlessly transition their utility service when relocating, ensuring their home is ready for them from day one.
- Manage account modifications including refunds, compensation requests, and account changes – carefully review each request, follow established procedures, and ensure accurate processing while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Route escalated issues for resolution – when a situation requires specialized attention, you'll skillfully escalate concerns to the appropriate department while keeping the customer informed and reassured throughout the process.
- Assist with assistance programs – connect customers with valuable support programs such as Energy Assistance, CRISIS, Dollar Energy, and other resources designed to help those facing financial hardships.
- Process service orders – handle order inquiry calls, initiate service orders as needed, and provide customers with timely status updates on their requests.
- Help with payment arrangements – work with customers to establish credit arrangements, payment plans, and solutions that help them manage their utility expenses responsibly.
- Promote self-service options – guide customers toward convenient online and mobile tools that allow them to manage their accounts independently, empowering them with flexibility and control.
- Meet performance metrics – you will be equipped with the training and resources needed to meet individual deadlines, achieve key performance indicators, and contribute to team goals.
- Master multi-tasking – effectively navigate multiple systems, tabs, and windows while maintaining focus on priority issues and delivering consistent, high-quality service.
- Collaborate with your team – work cooperatively in a group environment to achieve common goals, share knowledge, and support your colleagues in delivering outstanding customer experiences.
