About the Role
As a Customer Engineer at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our innovative technology solutions and the businesses that need them. You will work closely with our Technical Engagement teams as an AI and Machine Learning subject matter expert, helping to showcase the power of arenaflex Cloud to prospective clients and partners.
This position offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI technologies, including specialized Machine Learning hardware developed by arenaflex. You will have the chance to help shape the future of our Tensor Processing Unit (TPU) platform by collaborating directly with clients and product development teams.
In this role, you will:
- Assist prospective clients and partners in understanding the capabilities and potential of arenaflex Cloud solutions
- Explain technical features and demonstrate how our platform can address specific business challenges
- Help clients design and implement proof-of-concept models and pilot programs
- Troubleshoot technical obstacles and develop strategies to overcome implementation barriers
- Work with specialized AI and Machine Learning hardware, including TPUs and related technologies
- Collaborate with product development teams to influence the future direction of arenaflex Cloud offerings
- Conduct product and solution briefings for clients across various industries
- Partner with product management to prioritize solutions that impact customer adoption
Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Customer Engineer will be diverse and engaging. Here's what you can expect:
- Business Opportunity Identification: Work collaboratively with our sales and technical teams to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand key client technical objections, and develop strategies to resolve technical blockers that may prevent deal closure.
- AI Expertise & Technical Support: Provide deep AI and Machine Learning expertise to support the technical relationship with arenaflex clients. This includes conducting product and solution briefings, leading proof-of-concept work, and partnering with product management to prioritize solutions that affect customer adoption.
- Solution Demonstration: Work directly with clients to demonstrate and model arenaflex Cloud product integrations in client and partner environments. Show how our technology can solve real-world business problems.
- Strategic Integration Guidance: Suggest integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure to execute complete solutions using arenaflex best practices. Ensure clients can maximize the value of their cloud investment.
- Client Engagement: Attend client sites, conferences, and industry events as needed to build relationships, understand client needs, and represent arenaflex as a trusted technology advisor.
- Solution Architecture: Design and recommend comprehensive cloud solutions that align with client business objectives while leveraging arenaflex's advanced capabilities in AI, machine learning, and data analytics.
Required Qualifications
We're looking for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. We welcome recent graduates from computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related technical fields.
- Cloud & Virtualization Experience: Foundational experience in virtualization or cloud-native models in a client-facing or support role. This can include academic projects, internships, or personal technology initiatives.
- Technical Programming Skills: Experience with big data, artificial intelligence, and mathematical programming frameworks such as TensorFlow, Python, or MATLAB. Familiarity with at least one programming language is essential.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Comfortable presenting ideas and explaining complex solutions.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and develop creative solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with the following additional experience will be strongly preferred:
- AI Solution Development: Experience building AI solutions and using specific Machine Learning frameworks such as deep learning, LSTM networks, and convolutional neural networks. Hands-on experience with model development and deployment is a plus.
- Scalable Systems Architecture: Experience architecting and developing software or infrastructure for scalable, distributed systems. Understanding of microservices architecture, containerization, and cloud-native development practices.
- Data Management Expertise: Experience in data and information management as it relates to big data trends and challenges within enterprise environments. Understanding of data pipelines, storage solutions, and analytics platforms.
- Adaptability & Learning Agility: Ability to learn quickly, understand, and work with emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud and IT technology space. We value candidates who stay current with industry trends and are excited about continuous learning.
