About the Role
As a Data Scientist at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in our Video Engineering organization, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver intelligent solutions that impact users worldwide. You will be responsible for mining vast amounts of data, implementing robust model evaluation pipelines, analyzing large-scale datasets, creating compelling visualizations, and ensuring the highest quality deliverables.
This position requires strong communication skills, as you will be presenting meaningful data insights to leadership and collaborating with various teams including AI research, cloud infrastructure support, and product development groups. Your work will directly influence the evolution of our AR/VR platforms and help shape the future of spatial computing.
Key Responsibilities
- Algorithm Development & Evaluation: Implement comprehensive algorithm assessment methods and develop rigorous evaluation frameworks to measure model performance across various metrics.
- Failure Analysis: Conduct deep-dive failure analysis and pattern mining to identify root causes of issues and develop targeted solutions for continuous improvement.
- Model Interpretation: Foster translation techniques for deep learning models to ensure interpretability and explainability of AI-driven decisions.
- Data Visualization & Insights: Generate and present meaningful data insights with compelling visualizations to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Statistical Analysis: Apply in-depth statistical analysis and big data analytics to drive actionable insights that enhance user experience and product performance.
- Feature Evaluation: Evaluate potential features based on client requirements to make informed decisions for internal product enhancements.
- Trend Analysis: Provide quantitative analysis of real-world trends and authentic user data to understand current model and algorithm performance.
- Modeling & Forecasting: Create mathematical models to project outcomes and inform critical business decisions.
- User Feedback Integration: Capture and analyze real user feedback on delivered products to support future product development and guide strategic initiatives.

Our Video Computer Vision team is working on exciting technologies for next-generation arenaflex products. We specialize in ML-based solutions for real-time image and video processing.
As part of our Spatial Insight Group, we focus on people and scene understanding—creating technologies that bridge the gap between the physical and digital worlds. We are developing 2D and 3D deep learning technologies that will bring the 3D world into users' devices using our powerful LiDAR sensors and advanced camera systems.
Our team has contributed to groundbreaking projects including facial recognition systems and advanced depth-sensing technologies. We continue to innovate in spatial awareness, object recognition, and immersive experience delivery.
Qualifications & Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field (Master's preferred)
- Strong foundation in machine learning algorithms and deep learning architectures
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java
- Experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
- Excellent communication skills for presenting technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with data visualization tools and techniques
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Preferred Experience

- Familiarity with LiDAR data processing and 3D point cloud analysis
