Responsibilities/Qualifications:

The Strategic Finance team is responsible for providing data-driven insights to inform strategic, financial, and operational decision-making across the company. We are seeking an analyst of Strategic Finance to partner with cross-functional leaders to drive initiatives including business planning, corporate strategy, capital allocation and strategic projects. This is a high-impact role that will offer substantial leadership exposure and the opportunity to drive long-term shareholder value in a high-growth environment at scale. The analyst of Strategic Finance will have the opportunity to act as the number two for one of Intrado’s business units and will report to the Manager of Strategic Finance.

How you will contribute:

The FP&A Analyst will primarily be responsible for working cross-functionally with our go-to-market, research and development, client support and operations teams to ensure integrity of our data and forecast both short-term and long-term financial results. Projects will include projecting financial results of Intrado’s operations, analysis of KPIs and business trends, conducting budget variance analysis, standardizing financial data, building out real-time reporting dashboards, implementing improved businesses processes and performing cohort analysis.

In 60 days, you will learn about Intrado’s business fundamentals by analyzing, managing and forecasting expenses across our departments. You will be exposed to each team, their function, and how they impact the business. You will develop an understanding of SaaS metrics and drivers that investors look at when evaluating our business in comparison to other comparable companies. You will also further advance your Excel skills and work on data validation and comparison. We expect you to take over the monthly financial reporting and expense forecasting for one of our business units by the end of 120 days.

The starting salary is anticipated between $70,000 and $80,000 CAD and will be commensurate with experience.
