MAIN FUNCTION
The Vantage Artificial Lift Control Room Operator (ALCRO) is a mission-critical role responsible for real-time surveillance and remote operation of artificial lift systems across multiple assets. This position protects production, extends equipment life, reduces HSE exposure, and drives faster operational decision-making through centralized control room operations.TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Monitor and control large volumes of artificial lift wells and compressor units across multiple fields
• Perform real-time surveillance and identify early indicators of abnormal performance
• Adjust operating parameters (speed, cycles, setpoints) to optimize production and protect equipment
• Diagnose equipment issues using live and trended data
• Execute alarm response actions and determine escalation paths
• Make real-time operational decisions regarding intervention, monitoring, or field dispatch
• Prevent failures through early detection and proactive adjustments
• Maintain detailed logs, documentation, and shift handovers
• Coordinate with field operations, engineering, and automation teams

Technical Competencies
• Artificial Lift Systems: ESP, Gas Lift, GAPL, Plunger Lift
• Compression systems and rotating equipment fundamentals
• SCADA systems and remote control platforms
• Data interpretation (electrical, mechanical, production metrics)
• Well performance fundamentals (drawdown, gas interference, pump-off)
• Equipment protection limits and safe operating envelopes
• Basic production optimization techniques
• Electrical safety awareness and shutdown logic
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
Minimum Required
• 2–5 years artificial lift OR compressor operations experience
• Hands-on experience starting, stopping, and troubleshooting equipment
• Experience operating through abnormal conditions (trips, failures, etc.)
Strongly Preferred
• Permian Basin / unconventional experience
• SCADA / remote surveillance experience (1–3 years)
• Alarm response and remote decision-making experience
