Position Overview

We are currently seeking motivated and confident Onsite Veterinary Pharmacy Customer Service and Data Entry Specialists to join our exceptional Veterinary Assistance team at our Louisville, KY location.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service and Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our veterinary pharmacy services. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Veterinary Clinic Communication: Connect directly with veterinary clinics to arrange prescription endorsements, resolve client issues, and clarify order requests through telephone and other communication channels as needed.
  • Problem Resolution: Conduct thorough research and problem-solving to determine appropriate solutions for clients and clinic partners, following up as necessary to ensure complete issue resolution.
  • Precision Data Entry: Complete accurate data entry of prescriptions into arenaflex's healthcare software systems, maintaining the highest level of quality in all pharmacy order processing.
  • Order Processing: Handle veterinary pharmacy orders with exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of prescription processing and fulfillment.
  • Client Interaction: Work with empathy, active listening, patience, compassion, and thoughtfulness when interacting with clients and partners, building lasting relationships based on trust and exceptional service.
  • Continuous Learning: Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow within the role, embracing feedback and participating in our culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Documentation: Communicate with veterinary facilities via telephone (and other channels as needed) using our internal programs and systems to research solutions and document clinic notes thoroughly.
  • Outbound Contact: Handle a significant portion of the business day in outbound veterinary clinic and client telephone contacts, managing multiple conversations professionally.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service or data entry roles.

  • Previous experience in the pet industry or animal care sector.

Licensing Requirements:

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Pharmacy Technician License from the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy where applicable.
  • Willingness to complete any required certifications or training programs.
