About the Netfx Team Opportunity
We're excited to introduce you to Netfx, our cutting-edge cross-functional visual effects (VFX) initiative built on arenaflex's innovative platform. This program optimizes the pairing of talented individuals with responsibilities to execute high-volume global projects. Netfx maintains an extensive ecosystem of assets, including VFX companies and artists throughout the post-production environment, ensuring our members experience the best version of every show.
As a Marketplace Analyst Intern on the Netfx team during Summer 2024, you'll contribute to departmental needs while participating in a comprehensive training and development program designed to equip you with the skill sets essential for future entry-level positions in business analytics, regardless of domain.
What You'll Do
As an integral member of our team, you'll engage in meaningful work that directly impacts our global operations:
- Conduct Comprehensive Analysis: Evaluate current transactional digital marketplaces to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement.
- Research Industry Trends: Analyze competitive landscapes and emerging trends in global marketplaces to provide actionable intelligence.
- Strategic Insights: Offer insights and recommendations based on marketplace analysis to support strategic decision-making across the organization.
- Pricing Strategy Collaboration: Work with senior team members to develop and refine competitive pricing strategies that drive business growth.
- Financial Modeling: Assist in developing financial models to evaluate business performance and assess potential scenarios.
- Forecasting & Budgeting: Contribute to forecasting and budgeting procedures that support overall financial planning efforts.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across departments to understand business dynamics and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Presentations & Meetings: Participate in meetings and presentations to share findings and recommendations with stakeholders.

- Marketplace Analysis Interest: Curiosity about global marketplace dynamics and platform experiences (buyer/seller interactions).
- Location Requirement: Must reside in the Los Angeles area during the internship period. Relocation and housing guidance will be provided if applicable.
- Technical Proficiency: Basic computer knowledge with familiarity with software programs including Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
- Initiative & Independence: Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with sound judgment and analytical thinking capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications
