Salary: £40,500 - £46,000 dependent on experience plus bonus scheme subject to quality and performance

At Capita, we’re looking for compassionate and detail-oriented professionals to join our Health Assessment Advisory Service (HAAS) as Functional Specialists.

We are seeking an experienced and committed Functional Assessors who are already approved WCA Assessors to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll use your clinical knowledge to carry out functional assessments and compile evidence-based reports that help the Northern Ireland Department for Communities (NIDfC) or the DWP (Department of Work and Pensions) make informed decisions about benefit claims.

About HAAS

The Health Assessment Advisory Service (HAAS) arranges and carries out assessments for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and the Department for Communities (DfC).

The purpose of the assessment is to understand how an illness or disability affects a person’s daily life. After the assessment, the DWP/DfC makes the decision as to whether the individual will receive any benefits.

The Health Assessment Advisory Service is delivered on behalf of the DWP & DfC by Capita.
