**The Role**
As a Senior Statistics Architect, you'll be responsible for assisting the transformation and innovation of our VOC methodology, which involves the development and implementation of surveys, dashboards, and analytics tools. You'll work closely with product and process owners, technical teams, and stakeholders to design, build, and deploy data models, architectures, and analytics solutions that drive business insights and customer satisfaction.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Collaborate with utility teams to outline, design, and implement business requirements for the VOC methodology
* Develop and maintain knowledge of VOC methods and leverage them to inform and transform data within the Cornerstone large data platform
* Design and build robust data model architectures to support efficient data processing and standardized metric definitions
* Develop and implement large-scale data analytics and batch/real-time analytical solutions using transformational technologies (Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python)
* Provide guidance on optimizing data processing and analytics workflows to drive efficiency and accuracy
* Develop and implement software programs, tools, and automation solutions to support VOC methodology
* Proactively identify and automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and productivity
* Collaborate with colleagues from GSN and AET to prioritize, define, increase, and review statistics for various use cases as part of the VOC cease-to-quit technique
**Essential Qualifications**
* Hands-on experience with Hive/Hadoop, PySpark, Python, shell scripting languages, development life cycle management, and troubleshooting for data-driven tasks (3+ years)
* Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams, product owners, and stakeholders
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies and delivery principles, including incremental product delivery and continuous improvement
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design and implement data models, architectures, and analytics solutions
* Experience with data visualization tools and techniques, including Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience with data warehousing, ETL, and data governance principles
* Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
* Experience with machine learning and predictive analytics techniques
* Strong knowledge of data security and compliance principles, including GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS
