Customer interactions will focus on software navigation and locating previous tax returns and amendments. In this role, you will provide an empathetic approach to customer interactions, leveraging critical thinking and multi-tasking capabilities and escalating when necessary. **Schedule** * **Seasonal contract**: This contract runs through April 15th, 2024 * **Flexible schedule opportunities**: You create your own schedule! * **Schedule available hours**: Between 7 am and 11 pm CST, Monday - Sunday * **Weekday and weekend options**: Available to fit your needs **Compensation** * **Earn up to $19 per hour**: Contractors on this program who meet or exceed key metrics earn on average the equivalent of $16-$19/hour during peak times and $15.60-$17.50/hour during non-peak times * **Peak rates apply**: January - April **Required Skills** * **Sincere desire to assist the customer**: You're passionate about helping others and providing exceptional customer service. * **Tech savvy and avid computer user**: You're comfortable navigating multiple systems and have a strong understanding of technology. * **Ability to multi-task and navigate multiple systems**: You're able to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize your work effectively. * **Communicate with a friendly tone and professional demeanor**: You're able to communicate effectively with customers and provide a positive experience. **Technology & Equipment Requirements** * **Personal computer**: No tablet * **Broadband internet connection**: Recommended at least 10 MBPS * **Wired internet connection**: No wi-fi or mobile internet * **Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system** * **Valid antivirus software installed, running and up to date** * **USB headset with microphone** * **A webcam will be loaned to each contractor to be used for the duration of the contract** **Work Environment Requirements** * **Quiet, uninterrupted space**: You'll need a dedicated workspace with minimal distractions. * **Organized desk area**: You'll need a clean and organized workspace to stay focused. * **Professional appearance**: If on camera, you'll need to present yourself professionally. **Important Information** * **About our application process**: When you're ready to apply, click "Apply" and complete your profile.
